La Azotea – Haute Cuisine in Sevilla
This tiny food haven has successfully combined bistro style with restaurant class. Hugely popular with locals, La Azotea has redefined gourmet tapas across the three Azotea mini eateries that have popped up over the last couple of years.

The waiter’s recommendation of Navajas (Razor fish) was excellent – this unique shell fish exudes a powerful sense of the sea, and the oily bean accompaniment fitted well. The goats cheese topping on the carillada (pork cheek) worked perfectly, and the succulent meat was as tasty as ever. Throw in a respectable and fairly priced wine list, stylish décor, and the hubbub of a packed restaurant, and you begin to understand why this place is full both night and day.
Due to demand La Azotea no longer takes bookings, so just turn up, or call after 8.30pm to join the list of people wanting a table. Either way, make sure this is in your lunch or evening food stop plans for an original and authentic experience. N.B. tapas at the bar only.
